Round one: Training partners? Who cares. These two clearly have bigger things on their minds. Time to see how it plays out for real this time. Dunham lands a nice kick to open things up. Griffin responds with a few looping head shots that don't find their mark. He keeps head hunting. Dunham dives in for a single leg, but Griffin backs off and somehow hops his way out of it. Back to the center of the cage. Dunham lands a left to the temple as Griffin connects with a leg kick. Griffin throws another leg kick. And another. Dunham throws a nice combination and finishes it with a solid kick. Griffin inside leg kick, then nice right to the head. Dunham counters with a nice punch of his own. Griffin misses with a wild left hook and Dunham uses the momentum to take his back. He's got the hooks in, but Griffin appears to be defending nicely. Griffin rolls to his belly, but Dunham gets him supine just as fast. Dunham boxes the ears from behind, trying to loosen him up for the choke. Clock is winding down. Griffin gets out of trouble thanks to the bell. Good round.

Round two: Dunham opens up round two with a nice left. Griffin tries to respons with a big right, but Dunham ducks under and goes for a takedown. Griffin goes for a guillotine on the way down, but Dunham is able to pop his head out. Now Dunham in full guard, nailing him with some nice elbows. He goes for a choke, but Griffin is able to find a way out. They get to their feet and Griffin throws another punch, but, again, Dunham takes him down. He's now got his back. Dunham in the same position as he was in the first round, but now he's got more time (two minutes). Griffin is working hard to avoid the choke, rolling to belly and then getting to his feet. Dunham is still clinging to his back, standing, with a body triangle locked in tight. Griffin goes face first to dump him, but Dunham hangs on. Griffin gets back to his feet with Dunham still on his back ... and that's how the round ends.



Round three: Randy Couture tells Griffin between rounds that he needs a knockout. He comes out guns blazing and they exchange a flurry in the center of the cage. Griffin goes for a takedown now, but can't get it. Dunham lands a nice knee to the body. Dunham throws a kick to the body and Griffin goes airborne to try and avoid it. He gets to his feet and dives for a takedown. Dunham reverses and, again, gets the back of Griffin. Same position as rounds one and two. Dunham now gets the hooks in. Griffin protects his neck and Dunham drills the left ear with punches. Griffin stands up and walks over to the cage with Dunham on his back. Dunham still working for the choke. Griffin, standing up, still defending it. Griffin goes for one last spike, but Dunham hangs on until the horn sounds.
